A group of about 30-40 leader met for a weekend retreat at an exclusive mansion in Miami Florida in January 2016. Dave’s brother, William Wood, is an hypnotists and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) speaker and trainer. William lead the group in a number of NLP exercises which help release pain, charge up the mind, and provide a foundation for success. This specific exercise of giving a “King’s Speech” (or a Queen’s Speech for ladies) is to imagine you are the king address your loyal and happy citizens. It is somewhat similar to when the United States President address the nation. One key to the king’s speech is to set it to some epic music. Many of these can be found on YouTube; the one used in this video is “Ice of Phoneix” by Audiomachinie.
