Empowr Training – How To Bid Quickly – Bidding Strategies

In this 16 minute video, Neal Walters shows how

Bidding on the same item counts toward closing the loop with a person, but doesn’t count toward meeting your goal of bidding. Because of that, Neal suggests you rotate between categories, for example, one day bid on Computer Tablets, then Jewelry, then Sporting Goods, and so on. He also recommends bidding on products you are familiar with. Like in the old TV game show, “The Price is Right”, it helps when you know the products in a category well, and you know what the price (and shipping) should be for both new and used items.

When displaying products to bid on in the marketplace, make the following selections:

 1. First pick a merchandise category
 2. Click on the Sort: “Price: lowest first”
 3. Click on the checkbox “Only show if ships to the United States” (or whatever your country is
 4. Then in the bottom right corner, select the “Items per page” to the max of 200.

Neal warns against bidding on something with an outlandishly high shipping price; just skip over those and don’t bid on them.

He then shows an item, let’s call it a widget, that has a bid price of 6 cents, and “Free Shipping”. Neal says there are four things that could happen if he bids on it:

 1. He might have to buy it for 6 cents – no big deal, that won’t break the bank, will it
 2. He can choose to sponsor it. That means it will go back for auction under his account, and if he sells it for more than 6 cents, he gets 95% of the additional amount, and the original seller will get 5% of the additional amount.
 3. He might get outbid by someone else
 4. The seller might have a “Reserve Price” on the item above the current bid price of 6 cents. For example, in the video, the “widget” is actually an amplifier. More than likely, the seller will have put a reserve price of at least $10 or $20 on it, so he can make some money, and cover the cost of shipping (since he listed the item as “free shipping”).

At 4:41 in the video, Neal mentions that you should be bidding on products and services that you really want; and you can change or increase the bid if you really want to win the auction for that product. However, the Empowr ecosystem requires you to often make dozens or even hundreds of bids (at the higher power levels), and thus you really don’t want to “win” 100 auctions per day, right?

At 4:50 – Neal quotes the Wikipedia definition of the greater fool theory:

The greater fool theory states that the price of an object is determined not by its intrinsic value, but rather by irrational beliefs and expectations of market participants. A price can be justified by a rational buyer under the belief that another party is willing to pay an even higher price.

He also mentions the historical event called “Tulip Mania” or “Tulip Fever” that happened in the Holland in 1637.

You can also look at how many people bid, and how many days are left on the auction before it closes. This helps you to know if the item is popular, and might help you “guestimate” if someone is likely to outbid you.

At 10:00 he re-iterates that you should bid on products you know. I.e. you should have an idea of the supply and demand of that product in the world in general, and you should have a good idea of what the winning bid should be. For example, if you are bidding for a guitar on Empowr, it would be helpful to know what guitars of similar quality sell for at Walmart or a local music store, and what an online site would charge you to ship a guitar to your home.

You can report a seller you lists a product in the improper category.

Neal shows his own statistics, that he must make about 330 bids per day to reach his “daily goal”. That’s because he is at the Teal Level 2 Power Level. A beginner, at the lower power levels, might only need to make 10-30 bids per day.

If you don’t know what Empowr is, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neLesq3TFD0&t=1s This video shows some bidding strategies with the Empowr social network. To meet your “daily goals”, you basically have to bid on dozens or even hundreds of marketplace items. This then raises the question of how to bid on all these items to make your goal, without the fear of winning them all and spending all your hard-earned money, or getting a stack of boxes delivered to your front step.

Empowr tip #6: Balance versus Ad Credits (From Bill Douglas)

Bill Douglas sheds some light on the common confusion that many have on how Empowr works regarding the 90 day matured cash out.

First he shows the graph under the “How matured is my balance” heading. He explains how each new user gets $1000 in ad credits to start with, and later you get automatically extended more as needed.

He then shows the “Ad Credits” screen. It shows the amount extended, and the amount utilized. This amount utilized has to be deducted, or paid, from your “My Balance” before you can cash out your 90-day earnings.

He also points out that as a Green Power User, he gets 40% of his ad platform fees that can be paid. He fails to mention that when you get to the Red-Star Power Level, that you can pay 100% of those fees out of your 0-day balance (i.e. non-matured funds).

Pay “on time”, and you get a 1.5% rebate from the 2.9% fee. He states that not paying your ad platform fee will lower your community score, which in turn can effect how you bid on items in the Empowr marketplace.

Empowr Cash Outs – Make Money without Selling with a Social Site similar to Facebook

Empowr is the alpha stage, not even Beta yet, but it’s open to the public. Most software applications move from Alpha to Beta to Release. Often the “Alpha” stage is a limited release, with limited features. Then when bugs are ironed out, they open it to more people in Beta mode, and finally a year or so later, it typically calls final or to production ready, pedal to the metal mode.

There are five main ways to earn with Empowr that are covered in this video, even though there are others that are not addressed.

 1. Posting/Sharing/Ad campaigns (have to wait 90 days)
 2. Selling in marketplace (What you sell, plus AMCO)
 3. Being a Support Coach
 4. Recruiting (one-tier only)
 5. Stock Options (may be coming soon)
 6. Other …

In the video above, Neal Walters shows about 15 people, and how much AMCO they have made, ranging from about $400 to $2900. These incomes are exceptional, and not average. There is absolutely no claim that you will make any money with the Empowr website, because no one knows how hard you work, what your background and experience is, and how dedicated you will be to overcoming obstacles.

You might need to spend a few hours a week sourcing photos. He shows a few samples of his profile or home page, where has made several posts including pictures. He mentioned that he wa sin Ft. Worth, and he took some pictures with his cell phone, and uploaded them with the Empowr Android smartphone app. Some people believe that posting real photos from the phone might be worth more money than pictures posted via the website, but I’ve never seen any proof of that.

Neal also shows Support Coaches making from nothing to $1901 from the prior month. It’s optional to become a support coach, but you can take tests to become one. Then Empowr will assign members to you, and you can make extra depending on how many people are assigned. However, you are supposed to get back to any questions asked within 24 hours. I’m not sure the time invested is worth the money made, but it’s worth more investigation.

In the video, Mr. Walters goes on to explain that earning preferences: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, along with what each level costs and some pros and cons of each. Platinum has higher pay out, but it’s much harder to predict what you’re actual monthly charge will be, because it’s based on a 1.5% fee of your advertising campaign. Once you get to “Red Star” power level.

Although he mentioned the “Red Star” power level, he didn’t go through the all the power levels, which are orange, green, blue, red, purple, teal, and sky-blue. However, he give a high level overview of how the daily goals work. He demonstrates what the graph looks like showing how many of your goals you have achieved for the day, and then the image or graphic that shows all the days that he met his daily goals for the current month.

Neal is ranked 21 on the US Leaderboard as of the date this video was made (February 2017). He explains to think of the earnings and balance as points, or gross income, and definitely not net income. The large money/numbers seem to mislead a lot of beginners.

Empowr is starting to look more and more impressive as a way to make money at home, by posting and sharing pictures and statuses on an environments very similar to the familiar Facebook. You can make money by just posting and sharing, and you don’t have to sell anything. This is NOT an Multilevel nor Network Marketing company. However, there is a chance to earn on your personal Tier 1 recruits, if you choose to do so.

Paypal Proof of Income/CashOut – $1160 in October 2016 by Bob Poster

Newcomers to Empowr and those considering the business are always asking one question: “Is anybody actually making money with this business?” or worded in Empowr terms “Has anyone really cashed out of Empowr”? People are looking for proof of cashouts, and that’s what Bob Poster shows in this video. He reveals his Paypal account with actual deposits.

At the time of this video, Bob Poster was a Teal Star “Empowr Citizen”. Empowr calls it’s members “citizens” of their democratic economy. At that time, that was the top level in the company, but now he is “Sky Blue Star”, the next top level.

So what Bob doesn’t tell you in the video that to get to Teal Star, he has probably been working the system for 8 months to a year, and probably a minimum of an hour each day. Yet it does show what is possible. I wish he gave more details. The big question is how much could one potentially make at the Teal Star level.

Empowr has a series of “Power Levels”, they go in the following sequenc: Orange, Green, Blue, Red, Purpole, then Teal. each level has four degrees: Basic, Level 1 (one stripe), Level 2 (two stripes), and Star Level. Your Power Level is shown to other users on the lower right corner of your profile picture. Other members seek to become fans of other members, and especially they want to be fans of people at the higher power levels. That’s because when one of those “citizens” shares your post, it can be viewed by thousands of more people.

As of today, Bob Post had 13,908 fans, where as I’m at the Red Level 1, and have 1969 fans. I’ve seen people at lower levels have more fans than me. I guess it’s a priority of whether you want to get fans, post, or work with the marketplace. It is a business, and you can choose to work it using different strategies.

People at the beginning levels take a while to learn the system, and they often believe that Empowr is a Scam. This is because there are fees for using Empowr, and once you become an “activated” user, you agree to let them charge your Paypal account or credit card. Google AdWords does the same thing, and few people call them a scam. By learning how the settings work, you can pay at the most $19.95/month to use the system, although that might postpone your earnings further into the future.

This isn’t the only video that shows proof of Empowr cashouts. Earlier this year, Bob Poster also did another video showing his Empowr Paypal cashouts for the year.

Common Empowr Questions and Answers

Question: Do you have to finish paying both add platform fee ad utilization fee to to cash out, or only one of them?

Answer: Both are due before you cash your matured earnings. However you can cash out your early cash outs and AMCO (Accelerated Mature Cash Outs) without paying those fees.

Question: How to make money with Empowr?

Answer: The basics are to make a lot of fans, post your maximum number of posts daily (using high quality posts/images that other people will truly enjoy), use your maximum shares (liking and commenting on other peoples posts), and both bid, buy, and sell things in the marketplace. Make lots of fans as you do this, and reciprocate wit the fans you have (if they like your posts, close the loop with them by liking their posts). It may take a long time to pay off your ad credits and collect the Matured Cash, but there are Accelerated Matured Cash Outs (AMCOs) based on the number of days you meet your daily goals and the actualy revenue that Empowr had for a given month.

Question: Why can’t I cash out my fully matured earnings?

Answer: You must pay off your ad platform fees. One user reported that it takes 6-12 months to be “in the black” or to have a positive balance.

To see how much you “owe” click “Advertise” then “My Ad Credits”, then you will get a screen similar to this user who was Red-Level-1 the day this screen shot was taken. Some call this the “ad credit utilization”. The credits just keep going up and up unless you pay them down. However, most people choose to upgrade to higher power levels, and many postpone paying them down until they have reached the highest Teal Star Level.

So if that user stopped moving up to higher power levels, he or she could take a month or two to pay down that $36,000, but at that level, the person is probably making $500-$1000/day depending on many factors.

From what I’ve heard in various forums, Empowr will never come after you or sue you for this money. But you cannot take out your earnings while it is due. They certainly have the right to do that.

Your amount due is 2.93% of your utilized amount for the month; but if you at the right optimization level, you get 50% of that back. Further, your “Power Level” determines how much of that you can pay out of your balance.

Question: Can people make money with Empowr? I hear people acquire money but cannot withdraw?

Answer: People at the top levels seem to be making some money. A Teal user once reported that he believes we can make $5000 to $10000 a month AFTER settling the ad credit balance, which might take a few or several years. He also pointed out that this assumes you aren’t making money by selling things in the marketplace, which would be a bonus source of income. He suggests it could be very profitable if Empowr gains “mass asppeals” and reaches a much larger audience. There is a video on You Tube that claims May ram has made one million dollars on Empowr (but they don’t actually say if that was withdrawn or not); but she is apparently one of the first members of the system, has reached the highest level, and thus obviously, everyone wants to be her “fan”. There are video proof from Empowr members and people showing screen shots of making withdrawals.

Question: Can you explain the “Ad Credits” and give an example .

Answer: Refer to the image below and the text below it.

The term “bank” above means the Empowr Bank, not the actual user’s bank account (thank goodness!) That’s because this person, as Red First Degree Power Level, can pay 88% of the fees from his or her Empowr balance.

As you can see above $33,016.91 was the amount utilized for the month, and the total “extedned to you” is $36,018.52. That shows how geometrical the system is. Each month you make more and more, but you have higher amount used as well. 91% of this person’s total ad credits utilized were thus consumed in the last month ($30,000/$33,000).

The system talks about “building trust”. Not only do you build trust with other Empowr citizens, you build trust with Empowr as well. At first, a newcomer might be scared of these numbers. It is a business, and the numbers must be watched and carefully managed, but you grow in your ability to understand the system as you use it month after month.

Is empowr a SCAM? No No No Here is the Proof of Cashout!

Edu Okafor (or Edwin Edwards?), from Kenya, shows his Paypal account, as of mid November 2017.

He says he has been a member of Empowr for two years, and has seen great changes.

While other people complain about their success coaches, he says that they are the reason for his success.

He recommends you work hard and be patient. He refers to the “ad credits” and the small monthly fee.

He suggests the first month on Empowr, take your time to learn how it works, and contact your success coaches and work with them.

How to check your daily goals history

As of the date of this post, Empowr is in theory rewarding people who meet their daily goals with an AMCO (Accelerated Matured Cash Out) at the end of the month. Bot Poster has provided this new video.

You are considered to have met your daily goal if you do so in all four areas:

Bid – bidding on items in the marketplace

List – listing an item for sale in the marketplace
<li)Post – posting your own status, picture or video
<liShare – clicking like, repost, or making comments

How many of these you are required to do depends on your current “Power Level”.

Empowr Get More Money in Your Pocket with Larger Cashouts and AMCOs

Aisha explains how the AMCO is achieved. Note: The system does change from time to time, and the concepts of the AMCO have changed since this video was created. However, the basic concepts are still good. AMCO stands for Accelerated Matured Cash Out, a term introduced by Empowr (former FanBox) in the summer of 2016. Other cashouts require 90-days of “maturing” or “maturation”, and further, people often don’t cash out because they use their “earnings” to Power-Up to higher levels.

The basic idea is to complete your daily goals: 1) Bid, 2) List, 3)Post, and 4) Share. You don’t have to fill out all the bonuses.

Do you daily goal at least one day per month; and the more days you do it, the more you could earn. There is a chart now that shows which days you have met the goals.

A month or two after this video was made, the system was “relaxed” somewhat to allow more people to get AMCO’s.

If you always post good ads for your listing, your listing will be auto-approved. But if enough are disapproved, you fall into a status where each listing must be manually approved. With manual approval, the auction item may not be approved until a day or two later. At the time she made this video, that was critical, but now under the relaxed rules it is a little less important.

Selling valuable items will help your AMCOs be larger. The company website also suggests you sell to a wide variety of people (to avoid colusion and manipulations by a small group of friends cross-buying each otherproducts, just to get the AMCOs).

Aisha suggests the term “transactional trust”. Bidding on items that a person is selling is a fast way to “close the circle” and build trust with a person.

The “daily goals” are a good idea, because people have any idea of how hard they need to work, i.e. how much work they have to put into the system. Aisha actually got $600 AMCO.

Another tip is to use pick your top 25 people, by clicking the “star” on the “People I Trust” screen. You are limited to starring 25 of them.

Note however that eventually Aisha left Empowr, concluding that Empowr is a “fraud site”.

Empowr Which Earning Package is Right for You? (Aisha Ch)

Aisha has done numerous positive videos about Empowr.

First, Aisha talks about “Daily Earnings” – which is total gross earnings into your account. Total Sales – Expenses = Profit.

And your expenses include your advertise costs, market place (auction) purchases, and your power level subscriptions.

The Gold Plan is the one mentioned in Eric S Burdon’s video where you pay $19.99/month fixed fee.

With Platinum, you will pay your 2.9% of your ad platform fee. At the higher levels like green, blue, and red could amount to several hundred dollars per month. However, by paying this, and working the system, it is more likely you will be able to pay off your add fees that accumulate and eventually start making real profit from the system.

Red Star is important – because that is the level where you can pay 100% of your ad platform fees from your balance. A lot of people move up a level every two weeks. So if you work the system daily, it can take 5 to 7 months to make it to Red Star.

What is NOT written on the chart that she is showing is the following:

 1. Everybody has an ad platform due date. If you pay your fees or not, that is a separate story. 5 days before the due date, your ad platform fees are deduced from your “power up” money. Her ad platform fees were $2500. So you lose that money, because it comes from the most matured money; and you need that money to upgrade to higher power levels. When do you get that money back? Whenever you pay your ad platform fees. As soon as she pays her fees, then she gets some of that money back.
 2. If you are on the Silver or Gold package, you won’t get that money back, until the day in the future where you finally do pay those fees, which could be many months in the future. But then it won’t be matured.

Since she is Red Star, her 1.5% of her $90,000 fees come out of her balance. You need to watch the above video a few time to really absorb this. And if you are just a orange level, come back and watch it again when you are about a Green Star – then it will make a lot more sense.

Starting at 9:45 in the video, she does the math of how to “do the math”.

At 13:00 she describes how she won’t even pay large platform fees (But since she is at Red Star or above, it is no longer a concern). She gives a what-if scenario – that the payment might be $200 if you were at Red basic.

She emphasizes that it will take a year or two before you will be able to cash out matured earnings.

She says the Gold plan at $19.99/month keeps the system affordable (and the Silver at $9.99/month even more so).

Empowr Scam Members! [ A Must Watch Video!]

M.L. Grayson joined in May 12, 2016. He claims that he was informed that you just have to post pictures. On July 6, he connected his Paypal, and he was charged $43.36. Mr Grayson was stunned (apparently he didn’t read the terms and conditions). His big complaint was that they deducted the money, then sent an email.

He further complains about the so-called “Success Coaches”, who he says is someone just like you; and he said his first success coach dropped out before he did.

Grayson does a bait and switch, and offers people some other online program. It makes me wonder about his motives for doing this video. He somehow got 2294 views as of the date I posted this.

He claims they always have a high fluctuation of new people, and that “no one” ever got any money. He obviously hasn’t seen the other videos we have on this site where people show their cash withdrawals.
